We are constantly exploring new initiatives in education and STRIVE to keep ourselves at the forefront of developments. We welcome current and prospective parents to call in at any stage (we do advise booking an appointment) to discuss your child’s education.

We strongly believe a positive partnership between school, parents, students and community is vital to our success. This strong partnership has been influential in the major developments and growth that have taken place over the last few years.

What we stand for

Our Mission:

  • To provide excellent teaching and learning opportunities for all students which excite them in their learning. With their talents enhanced they are motivated to become lifelong learners.
  • To create a safe and supportive environment by focusing on our STRIVE values.
  • To empower students to make the ‘right choices’ in their journey to becoming caring respectful citizens.
  • To teach students to consistently do their best and be proud of their achievements, they will know how to set and achieve goals.
  • To teach students to celebrate diversity and respect individuality in others while having knowledge and respect for The Treaty of Waitangi.

Our school is proud of our vision.

This was created in 2014 after extensive community involvement and has now been embedded into our teaching and learning. Success, Teamwork, Respect, Individuality, Vision & Enjoyment are our core values, commonly known as STRIVE.
